Every Mind Matters: Creating Workplaces and Communities Where Every Person Thrives

Facilitated by Nora Plambeck, Agile Mindfulness

Reframing mental health literacy through the lens of inclusive empowerment - highlighting the critical distinction between generic empowerment and strategies that prioritize informed, personalized approaches that adapt to the diverse needs of all individuals. This session explores how to break down stigma, promote awareness, and implement effective policies that shape people-centered, inclusive operating models and foster a culture where everyone is truly supported and able to thrive.

Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of the continuum of mental health--from illness to wellness--and how a lack of recognition can lead to unmet needs and unintentional barriers at work. They will learn how to use self-literacy to better understand their own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, along with techniques to build a strength-based mindset for advocating for themselves and others. They will feel more confident in their ability--no matter their role within the organization--to help create inclusive, people-centered practices that empower all minds.
