Facilitated by Jeannie Frazier, Franklin Covey
Learning to lead virtually is now a requirement for most leaders in today’s world. However, working remotely introduces unique challenges that many leaders are ill-equipped to address. Communication styles change, collaboration is challenged, and connection can be difficult. In addition, it’s not uncommon for leaders to worry about remote workers’ productivity. Leaders are challenged more than ever with establishing practices of open, transparent communication to help their teams understand the vision for what they’re meant to accomplish and to keep them engaged in doing great work. This session will help leaders better lead, influence, engage, and motivate their remote work teams.
Members will understand what it takes to lead virtually today. Together, we will explore the common pitfalls and best practices of leading remote teams while learning the emphasized importance of communication and trust.
