Purposeful Playtime

Experiential learning is the epitome of adult learning in action.  Through a process of hands-on experience, reflecting upon the experience, and drawing applicable lessons, employees are more fully immersed in the learning and able to extract personal mearning.to apply in their life.  Experiential learning is not just gaming, it is designing purposeful activities that help individuals and teams become more effective, engaged, and achieve high performance. 

In this workshop, members will learn some of the theory behind experiential learning and gain an understanding of why experiential learning is so powerful.  Additionally, members will learn how to design and conduct experiential activities to promote engagement, accountability, and high-functioning teams.

Carol Brush is the Organizational Development and Learning Specialist at Farm Credit Services of America.  She has a Masters Degree in Managerial Science from Bellevue University, focusing on organizational effectiveness, leadership and executive coaching.  Carol has been in the training and development field for over 25 years and specializes in classroom facilitation and team development.  When she isn’t working to develop strong teams and improve knowledge and skills of team members, she is involved with national associations that specialize in organizational effectiveness and training.

Carol Horner is President of Synchronicity, Inc.  She works with companies and organizations that want their employees, teams, and leaders to "be in synch" and make impact. 

Carol affects positive and productive changes in people's attitudes, behaviors, and relationships and creates a direct connection between the vision, values and strategies of a company and the day to day activities of their people.

Carol is an Everything DiSC® Certified and Authorized Partner, Five Behaviors® Accredited and Authorized Partner, and PXTSelect® Certified Professional and Authorized Partner. She is also holds a certificate in Advanced Consulting Skills
