Leadership Readiness Can't Be Defined
(But We Still Need To Try!)
Facilitated by Lesa Deeker, Best Care EAP
When you think of a leader, what comes to mind? How would you describe what makes a great leader? You can anticipate that everyone you ask will know how to describe a leader and that many of those descriptions will be contradictory. A leader is humble and hard-charging! A leader is steadfast and flexible! Let’s talk about the myriad expectations of leaders and how we can better narrow our focus to meet the leadership needs of our organizations and clients and provide better guidance to the people who choose leadership.
Members will know that how leadership is defined will be the best guide to leadership development and leadership readiness for their clients and organizations.
Members will be better prepared to discuss leadership expectations and use that knowledge as a guide to defining expectations and leadership development needs for their clients and organizations.
