In many organizations, we hear in our problem solving process that "management support" is needed to provide resources for process improvement implementation and also in sustaining these improvements.
Since we seem to focus so much on the shop floor or direct process workers, we felt it was time to turn the tables and look at what management can do to improve their methods and create procedures to help the workers be better. Also, sustaining productivity improvements have long been plagued by set-backs or slipping back into “old” patterns.
Renee has a light hearted program planned to share insights into the role of management that will continue to inspire and motivate a company to embrace continuous improvement.
The program includes an analogy between management and the onion. Hopefully, no tears will be shed!
