Appreciative Inquiry in Action
Colleen Maciejewski, Woodmen of the World
Are you curious about appreciative inquiry? Wondering how you can use positive psychology to facilitate the strategic planning process?
Join us as Colleen Maciejewski shares a case study on Woodmen of the World’s 2011 strategic retreat. Using an Appreciative Inquiry Summit format, the retreat was designed to create action plans to lead Woodmen toward a future as a thriving, healthy organization committed to making a positive contribution in our communities.
In this session, you’ll learn how the retreat was formatted, the basics of positive dynamics, and the potential and realized outcomes of a retreat built on the concept of positive psychology.
