A growing number of organizations recognize the value in building a coaching culture that offers employees at all levels the opportunity to grow their skills, enhance their value, and reach their professional goals. Studies show a strong organizational Coaching Culture is correlated with higher employee engagement and stronger overall performance. Navigating change, uncertainty, and keeping employees engaged and focused has never been so crucial as it is now in these unprecedented and emotionally-charged times. Coaching helps people, teams, and organization to move past limitations, get on track to success, and deliver sustainable outcomes.    

In this interactive session, ICF Nebraska Coaches, Donna King, ACC and Flame Schoeder, MCC, will demystify “Coaching” and its benefits. Members will:

  • ·        Explore misconceptions about Professional Coaching in the workplace
  • ·        Uncover common frustrations and triggers for which Coaching can be a solution
  • ·        Gain clarity on the role of a Coach and how Coaching can integrate with other organizational resources
  • ·        Brainstorm how coaching can impact the culture of an organization from the top, down
  • ·        Learn the things to keep in mind when seeking out external Professional Coaching
  • ·        Identify opportunities to embrace and implement coaching into workplace culture

Donna King, ACC and Flame Schoeder, MCC are independent ICF Credentialed Coaches who partner on a series of online group coaching sessions, as well Manager as Coach and Scrum Master to Coach training classes. Both have served as ICF Nebraska Board of Directors as President and are committed to building awareness of the power of professional coaching and the impact it has on transforming people, organizations and society.  


Donna King, Performance Development Coach & Consultant

Donna comes to the coaching and consulting profession with over 25 years experience leading and developing high performing talent and teams in the Branding & Marketing Industry. She was co-founder and V.P of a NY Marketing Agency until moving to Omaha in 2003. After experiencing the transformational power and impact of Coaching herself, she transitioned her career and now guides leaders and their teams to reach a higher level of performance. Whether working one-on-one or with a team, Donna helps leaders in a variety of industries tap into their inner genius, shift limiting beliefs and unproductive behaviors, and achieve the outcomes they want.

Donna is credentialed by the International Coach Federation and a Social + Emotional Intelligence Certified Coach. She offers an Emotional Intelligence Assessment (SEIP) as a part of her service to deepen the client’s self-awareness. She is also a Conversational Intelligence practitioner and a licensed provider of the Best Year Yet Coaching system proven to build teamwork, break down silos, encourage constructive dialogue, and instill a sense of personal responsibility and accountability.


Flame Schoeder, Master Coach and Employee Engagement Consultant

Flame’s 16 years of coaching and consulting has provided clients an insightful and intentional perspective that they can apply in every aspect of their lives. In 2018, she was the only North American coach to receive the International Coach Federation’s Young Leader Award. Flame specializes in coaching leaders to navigate change from the foundation of their personal and organizational values. Her coaching clients benefit from her commitment to consciousness in capitalism and her vast knowledge of human instinct and behavior so they may see themselves and their environments more clearly.

She has been a trusted advisor to leaders, from C-Suite to frontline managers, in industries including retail, healthcare, marketing, and across the financial sector. Flame’s wisdom has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review and Fast Company, among others. She is a mentor coach and MCC (Master Certified Coach), credentialed by the International Coaching Federation. She has also studied the Enneagram for over 20 years.  

Flame lives in Bellevue with her two brilliant children. And, yes, that is her real name.
