Christy Johnson -
With 15 years of experience in the healthcare staffing field, beginning as a recruiter, Johnston has been with Medical Solutions for over 11 years in a number of management positions. She currently oversees the service and Training teams, drives the company’s employee engagement strategy, all while cultivating the company’s award-winning culture which now extends from its flagship Omaha office to locations in San Diego, Cincinnati, Tupelo, Mississippi and soon to be Denver. Johnston’s strategies and leadership have helped make Medical Solutions an excellent place to work — in turn, ensuring employee loyalty and productivity, and increasing company growth. Medical Solutions’ outstanding culture has been recognized with local “Best Places to Work” awards in every location, including being named among “Best Places to Work in Omaha” seven times by the Omaha Chamber of Commerce and “Best Staffing Firms to Work For” four times by Staffing Industry Analysts. In 2014, Johnston accepted the Better Business Bureau’s Integrity Award on behalf of the Omaha office — an honor which owes a great deal to her work in launching successful community relations and wellness programs, and in setting the tone for a workplace run with integrity, compassion, and care. Johnston earned her BA in Communications at Iowa’s Graceland College and her Masters in Health Promotion with an emphasis on Human Resources Management at Nebraska Methodist College. Johnston is also a wife and the mother of two lovely children, and, in her spare time she continues to embrace her love of music by playing her custom-made cello.
