January Blitz:  Innovation in 

Organizational Development  

Join us in January for our first ODN “Blitz” session on “Innovation in OD.” During this session we will have a panel of three presenters discussing three topics for 10 minutes each. Following the presentations, we will utilize the remainder of our session for Q&A, further discussion, and networking.

Below is a summary of the topics and speakers from which we will have the pleasure of hearing:

Leaders as Teachers presented by April McKenna, Director of Organizational Effectiveness and Talent Strategy at Blue Cross Blue Shield Nebraska. Leaders as Teachers is a tool intended for the professional in Learning & Development or Human Resources as well as business executives who wish to make teaching, coaching, and learning part of their formula for business and organizational success. A simple, innovative method to make the most of talent, dedicated leaders.

Innovation and Influence presented by Emily Blodgett, Director of Organizational Development at First National Bank. Innovation and Influence - using listening skills and creativity to meet the organization’s greatest needs. Emily will share “case studies” of utilizing innovative tactics to assist FNB in achieving its strategic priorities.

Innovative Trends in OD presented by Carol Horner, President of Synchronicity, Inc. Carol will share insights of recent trends and innovative practices in the field of OD derived from her work as an independent consultant.
